So yes, in 2014 we traded-in our urban living for a country retreat! Since then I have become an apple farmer and have taken up the art of canning. After a couple of seasons harvesting, canning apples and being a blue ribbon winner of apple butter/apple sauce and best in show of canned fruit the dream of a studio kitchen appeared. So, in typical JJ fashion he started making plans to construct me one here at BaseCamp Oklahoma. This new space should be complete by spring and will support my creative spirit of picking and processing apples to share with our friends and travelers. He is even planning on building a large harvest table. Can't wait to share with you once it is all complete!
